Veterans Voices Initiative
Honoring Service. Inspiring the Next Generation.
Our mission is simple:
To preserve the stories of America’s veterans while teaching young people valuable media production skills that prepare them for college, careers, and life.
Through this initiative, veterans become mentors, storytellers, and role models. Youth become filmmakers, photographers, podcast producers, audio engineers, and digital storytellers.
Together, they create something that will last for generations.
Our Vision
Every veteran has a story worth preserving.
Every young person deserves the opportunity to learn from those who have served.
The Veterans Voices Initiative creates meaningful connections between generations by recording the experiences, lessons, sacrifices, and triumphs of our nation’s veterans through professional-quality media productions created by youth.
Our Mission
Youth CAMP Project believes that storytelling has the power to educate, inspire, and heal communities.
Our mission is to provide young people with hands-on training in media production while honoring veterans through professionally produced interviews, documentaries, podcasts, photography, and digital storytelling.
This program is designed to build respect, leadership, confidence, communication skills, and technical abilities while preserving living history.
